Welcome to the Doña Ana Chapter NSDAR

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a women’s service organization, founded in 1890 and dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism, and honoring the patriots of the
American Revolutionary War.

The Doña Ana Chapter NSDAR is one of 16 chapters in the New Mexico State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution (NMSODAR). We are 62 members strong and growing. We are actively involved in supporting our various committees which include helping veterans, active-duty soldiers and their families, historic preservation, conservation, educational programs, women’s issues, and much more.  There are also volunteer opportunities for ongoing projects. We invite you to join us today!

Our chapter is located in beautiful Las Cruces, New Mexico, nestled between the Organ Mountains and the Rio Grande River. Doña Ana county is home to the Fort Selden Historic Site; the Old Mesilla Historic District; New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum; Prehistoric Trackway National Monument; Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, and the New Mexico State University, home of the “Aggies.”

Our chapter regent is Rachael Bissell and vice regent is Becca Williams.

Luncheon meetings are held the third Thursday of the month,
10:30 a.m., September through May.

You are cordially invited to contact us for membership information or
if you would like to attend our meetings.
